Why does my Mac need a companion app?
An iPhone has no way to reach another machine on its own. Your phone sends the request; a small app on the Mac carries it out. Every tool of this kind works the same way.
Why isn't the Mac app on the App Store?
Pressing keys in other apps requires the Accessibility permission, and apps that use it can't be sold on the Mac App Store. So it comes from here — notarized by Apple, so it opens without a warning.
Is the Accessibility permission safe?
It's what allows the companion to press keys for you. It acts only on requests from your paired device. It doesn't read your screen and it doesn't watch what you type. Without it, pairing still works — the buttons simply won't do anything.
Where does my data go?
Nowhere. There's no account and no server in between. Your iPhone and your Mac talk directly over your own Wi‑Fi, encrypted with a key made fresh for every connection. What you copy stays on your two devices.
Do I pay again for iPad?
